Much\u00a0is said about sun and beach tourism in Alicante,\u00a0which my family and I are very fond of, but we also have other alternatives.<\/p>\n

When you think you know every corner of \u00a0San Juan Beach,\u00a0<\/strong> it may surprise you somewhere beyond the horizont.<\/p>\n

Passing the lighthouse that marks the end of sandy beaches, we can find a circuit\u00a0to walk or bike\u00a0that will test your imagination.<\/p>\n

Leaving very early in the morning and very close to our\u00a0residential Narval\u00a0<\/a>and\u00a0Alborada\u00a0<\/a>can start the walk from the beach,\u00a0 walking on the sand\u00a0and, as we approach Cape Huertas, you\u2019ll be surprised about the way in which landscape changes.<\/p>\n

We have to climb a path surrounded by low-lying vegetation and we will get to a point in which we can contemplate\u00a0a panoramic view of the beach from the \u00a0base of the lighthose<\/p>\n

Following our way towards Alicante, the landscape changes again<\/strong>.\u00a0This time we will find obstacles for our bikes.\u00a0Large stone blocks make up the third step of the way\u00a0with beautiful shapes and forms eroded by wind and sea.<\/p>\n

They accompany us on this trip and they are always present in this corner of Alicante so we can sharpen our senses and enjoy some fresh air, thus\u00a0we can find places where we only hear the sound of the sea hitting the rocks\u00a0and other more hidden where it seems that the world has stopped for a few minutes.<\/p>\n

Ideal to take a break on our way, to stop, reflect\u00a0and relax watching the horizon in the sea or the city.<\/p>\n

At the end of this path, the walk rewards us\u00a0 with picturesque views to the antique villas.<\/p>\n

This looks like the end of the road but no,\u00a0we`d better recover strength because the hardest is still to come.\u00a0Cliffs and places impossible to pass through.<\/p>\n

Many times it is better to get off the bike to see how crabs try to\u00a0collect some snails, or just to enjoy the view or the tranquility of the place.\u00a0The thrill of going up and down through these magical places makes this tour to be must.<\/p>\n

In the end we will have time to rest our legs walking though a\u00a0long beach frequented by tourists\u00a0with a mix of rock and sand that ends at the Alicante Costablanca Marina.<\/p>\n

The way back of this\u00a0 trip can be done using the bike lanes<\/strong> that are well marked (easy to find) and, for those who have more physical preparation, you know: 180 degree turn and return along the same path Cape Huertas.<\/p>\n
