Urbincasa has joined CreeCT team and is taking part in issues like the Royal Garden restoration project.
Royal Botanical Garden: Restoration Project and Environment Protection.
The Project Urbincasa is taking part in is a struggle to restore the former Royal Botanical Garden of Cartagena in its original site: Las Delicias Promenade in Saint Lucía Quarter. In this way, Cartagena will recover a significant part of its history that will add value to the already existing tourist offer and that will create environmental consciousness among its inhabitants.
The Royal Botanical Garden of Cartagena, dated from XVIIIth century, was a pioneering centre in botanical research and divulgation in Spain, and a fulcrum for other scientific fields such as Medicine or Engineering.
According to the project, the new Royal Botanical Garden reaches the Moros’ Mount hillside and the Historic Place crowning the top of the hill. The result is a superb area, perfect for family activities and guided tours.
