The number of real estate transactions increases month after month in Spain, and we have already reached a positive data year. Regarding the number of transactions, Murcia registered the highest increase of the whole country.Last August this number was 49,9% higher than in August 2014, pretty beyond the rest of Spain, where the growth has been established in 24,2%, according to Statistics National Institute (INE), and August has been distinguished as the best month since 2010.

1.087 transactions took place in Murcia, and 87% of them corresponded to second-hand properties market.

The national level increase was 24% higher compared to August 2014, which means an increasing variation year to year bigger than 10% since July.

Andalucía has been keeping the leading position in the real estate market during the previously mentioned period in absolute figures, and it is followed by Valencia, Catalonia and Madrid. Concerning the variation year to year, Murcia is followed by Aragón (39,5%), Madrid (33,1%), and Valencia (32,8%). Castilla y León, where a decrease of 0,5% in real estate transactions can be observed, represents the opposite extreme.

The information publicized by the INE comes from the data registered by the Land Registry Offices, and they correspond to the public title deeds which were signed during the previous months.

After August upturn, the upward trend is verified, and we achieve twelve consecutive months of variation increase year to year.
